About to ICAFE 2025
The International Conference on Agricultural Engineering and Food Engineering (ICAFE 2025) will be held grandly in Haikou, China in 2025. The theme of this conference is "Empowering Modern Agriculture with Technology, Driving Food Safety and Sustainable Development with Innovation". It brings together experts, scholars, researchers, industry representatives, and policy makers from around the world in the fields of agricultural engineering, food science, biotechnology, intelligent equipment, and resource environment to jointly explore key technologies and innovation paths for agricultural modernization and food industry chain upgrading. As the core city of Hainan Free Trade Port, Haikou is vigorously developing smart agriculture, ecological circular agriculture, and high value-added food processing industry, relying on the advantages of tropical agricultural resources and the national strategy of building the Southern Silicon Valley. This provides a broad application scenario for technological innovation in agriculture and food engineering. ICAFE 2025 will focus on cutting-edge issues such as intelligent agricultural machinery and precision agriculture, agricultural Internet of Things and big data, water-saving irrigation and facility agriculture, post harvest processing technology for agricultural products, food processing and preservation, functional food development, food safety testing and traceability, sustainable packaging technology, and resource utilization of agricultural waste, promoting the construction of a green, efficient, and safe agricultural food system. The conference will invite renowned academicians, university professors, agricultural research institutions, and experts from leading food enterprises from home and abroad to give keynote speeches and share the latest research results and industrialization practices. Simultaneously establish a forum for young scholars, showcase graduate papers, and select outstanding papers to promote interdisciplinary communication and integration of industry, academia, and research. All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and submitted for search in international authoritative databases such as EI Compendix, Scopus, CPCI, etc. ICAFE 2025 invites colleagues from around the world to gather in the tropical coastal city of Haikou to seek innovative development in agriculture and food engineering, and work together to help achieve global food security and sustainable development goals.
Record
All full paper submissions to the ICAFE 2025 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ICAFE 2025 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to afeiac@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
